According to the Global Times, China's Central Military Commission recalled the sacrifice of five Chinese soldiers stationed on the Karakoram mountain. Here are the regimental commanders of PLA Xinjiang Military Command Qi Fabao, Chen Hongun, Xiangong, Xiao Siuan and Wang Xuoran. Four of them died in a bloody clash of Galvan, while one died due to overflowing in the river during the rescue.

However, China is under-reporting the number of PLA soldiers killed in the Galvan Valley. Recently, the Chief of Northern Command, Lt Gen YK Joshi had told that 50 Chinese soldiers were taken by vehicles after the skirmish of Galvan valley. In this skirmish of Galvan, many people of the Chinese army were killed.
