Peskov revealed the timing of the return to normal life after the pandemic

Press Secretary of the Russian President Dmitry Peskov said that collective immunity of 60% of the world's population is sufficient to defeat the pandemic. According to his forecasts, it will be formed by mid-summer 2021.

Thus, in August it will already be possible to fully return to normal life.

A Kremlin spokesman added that many countries are working on this. Peskov, in particular, noted the successes of Israel, as well as the increase in the rate of vaccination in Russia and the United States.

Meanwhile, Bloomberg previously suggested that 75 percent of the world's population must be vaccinated against COVID to defeat the coronavirus pandemic. Only in this case there will be a return to normal life. However, to vaccinate such a number of people at the current rate, it will take about seven years.
