According to civic officials, the final decision on the timing of local trains in Mumbai will be taken after February 20. In addition, the Greater Mumbai Municipal Corporation ( BMC ) will review the situation after February 20, after which a decision will be taken on the Mumbai Local.

On the other hand, between February 1 and February 14, 4,618 passengers were traveling on Central (CR) and Western Railway (WR) without face masks, according to figures provided by Western and Central Railways. This includes 2 thousand 558 passengers. 2,060 people were arrested on Western Railway and Central Railway.
